The results are in. Below is a brief summary of the feedback received in our recent SFMC survey. While it is not clear what specific format is desired, the members overwhelmingly want a choice to play in a Gross or Net division!

- Non Participants: 16 respondents
- 10 either had scheduling conflicts or were "injured" 62%
- 5 (31%) Don't consider themselves "Champion" of SFMC
- 1 didn't like format (or didn't know there was a choice)
- Nearly 70% have participated in 5+ events in 2017!
- 13 of 16 are more likely than not to participate in 2018!
- Good participation in survey 18 participants completed the survey
- Good balance between divisions
- Members overwhelmingly love choice of divisions!
- Match vs Medal
- 50/50 preference
- Same split in both Gross and Net divisions
- Qualifiers:
- 12 Prefer 18 holes
- 7 Prefer 36 holes
- Tournament:
- 4 prefer 18 holes (only 1 of these wanted 36 hole qual)
- 10 prefer 36 holes (4 wanted 36 hole qual; 72 total)
- 3 wanted some version of 54 holes, but couldn't fit it in the above 18/36 format of question.
- 1 wants it all complete in one weekend for max participation
- Participation in 2018
- Vast majority will participate next year with only 1 not likely.
