Simsbury Farms Men’s Club Scholarship Fund
Each June since 2000 the Simsbury Farms Men’s Club has awarded one or two $1,000+ scholarships to worthy students graduating from Simsbury High School. The scholarship awards started when the SFMC Board recognized the need to support deserving local high school students in their pursuit of a college education. Since then SFMC has raised money for this purpose and received many sincere letters of appreciation from the Scholarship Selection Committee at the High School as well as award recipients. This effort and generosity from the Men’s Club members has not gone unnoticed throughout Simsbury.
SFMC is not involved in the selection process for these awards — the SHS Scholarship Selection Committee reviews each applicant and makes the final decisions. Although not a requirement for a recipient many have been members of the SHS Golf Teams and/or worked at Simsbury Farms. Additionally, past award recipients represent the most outstanding students at SHS — National Honor Society members; special achievement award winners; and energetic, enthusiastic volunteers in our community.

- Generous donations by members when joining SFMC each year;
- Various fundraising activities throughout the golf season; and
- Direct contributions from members and others.
Everyone who has or will contribute to the Scholarship Fund is greatly appreciated for helping support several worthy young adults in Simsbury. Please consider a generous contribution when joining the SFMC & Hole-In-One each year and/or making a separate direct donation!
